The paint facility is a two bay operation that can be converted to a four bay operation to accommodate aircraft of all sizes up to a Boeing Business Jet. This allows the facility to compete on all levels of aircraft painting with multiple aircraft simultaneously. In the four bay operations configuration, there is a preparation/strip bay, priming/ sanding bay, and two additional painting bays. The facility’s air system will be computer controlled for monitoring heat and airflow, reducing humidity and controlling drying, which will allow the aircraft to set and cure faster (with higher quality) than conventional paint booths. The computer controlled system will allow the company to paint aircraft 365 days a year.
